TASK TEAMS

At the core of our business are our exceptional Service Delivery Teams who work tirelessly on the ground, making TASK kids’ Before and After School experience the best in the sector.

Our Service Teams consist of:

ROLES

Service Leader

The “Captain” responsible for complete service operations across all sessions.

Service Leaders fill the Regulatory role of “Responsible Person (RP)” during service hours and are required to hold formal, specific qualifications in Child Protection and First Aid. TASK will help you attain (and maintain) these.

Deputy Service Lead

A 2IC assumes Service Leader roles and responsibilities in the Leader’s absence. Deputy Leads require formal, specific qualifications in Child Protection and First Aid when taking on “RP” responsibilities. TASK will help you attain (and maintain) these.

Senior Educators

Key team members who will have some higher responsibilities – potentially managing smaller groups of children or other team members. No formal qualifications are required but you’ll need to have shown an aptitude and attitude for higher duties.

Educators

General Team members who engage, guide, care for and actively supervise the children in our care. There are no formal qualifications required. We’ll give you two trial shifts to show us the aptitude and attitude required to succeed as a TASK Team member!

The TASK Story

It all started when…

The After School Klub (TASK) has been providing top quality Out of School Hours Care across Sydney and NSW for ten years.

We started as a small homework club at our own children’s public school ten years ago. It was a simple, creative solution to the chronic shortage of OSHC places in our own school community.

Within six months, a second, nearby school reached out for help when one of their providers ceased service. Twelve months later, a third school knocked on our door…

Fast forward 10 years and on any given school day, TASK now provides OSHC to up to 1800 children from almost 40 NSW schools.

We strive daily to make every one of those kids feel as valued, nurtured, and well cared for as our own children were on that first day in 2013.
